Christmas on Texas Avenue is back again! Shop for the holidays, enjoy the entertainment on stage, have breakfast and lunch with our food vendors, visit the local merchants, visit the Sculpture Trail, enjoy Santa's Playground, and of course take your photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2023, from 10-4 PM   and  SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2023, from 10-4 PM

The Christmas on Texas Avenue Festival is entering is 26th year! The event has been held in the Downtown Arts District each year since 1997 and has grown into one of the best festivals in Baytown as voted by the readers of the Baytown Sun in 2022!! . We will have our popular photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, lots of entertainment including the The Skyline Band, Brightwire, Tony James, Next Level Dance Studio, Lee HS Jazz Band, Young Men Successfully Stepping, and other local artists; food trucks, a wide variety of merchandise booths, a car show, arts and crafts, our huge Santa's Playground with lots of cool activities like a rock wall,  a bull ride, a train and lots more!! The event will span over 2 days and promises to be a lot of fun for the family.

Our Sculpture Trail is an added attraction. All who submit their votes for their favorite sculpture will walk away with a gift! Enjoy seeing the 25 fantastic sculptures lining the streets of the Downtown Arts District and take the opportunity to vote for your favorite one.

Nature Lover? Eddie V Gray Wetlands Center will be there for show and tell on Sunday, December 10th.

CAR SHOW:  Bring your car along and join the show on Saturday, December 9th, 10-2. Categories are: People’s Choice;  Best Work In Progress; Most Original; Best Custom; Furthest Traveled; Sponsor’s Choice; Best Import; Best Modern; Best Daily. 

Registration is $25 up to December 8th; $30 on the day of the event.

ELIGIBILITY: The festival is open to vendors selling arts, crafts, antiques, collectibles, and quality merchandise or services. Each registration must include a description of what items or services will be sold. Franchise rules will be followed to avoid duplication of those items for sale; only one of any National company will be permitted. The Event Committee reserves the right to refuse any vendor rental space. Items not included in the description listed on the application form will not be allowed for sale. Absolutely no garage sale booths. No exceptions. No Alcohol is to be sold at this event.


Personalized tumblers, Jewelry, Paparazzi, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Tacos, Lemonade, snowcones, BBQ, Coffee, Tamales.


· Merchandise booth spaces are 10 x 10 with no limit to the number of spaces that a vendor can rent.

· Vendors must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, extension cords and display fixtures. Tents MUST have weights.  Tents will not be allowed if there aren't weights to hold them down.

· Please consider that as with any outdoor festival, there is always the possibility of inclement weather. If Christmas on Texas Avenue is canceled because of weather, vendors will be refunded 60% of their actual payment.

· No refunds will be honored after your registration has been processed, except as stated in our inclement weather clause.

-Vendors will NOT be permitted to leave their booths set up overnight.

-Vendors will be allowed to select their booths, in the order that their registration was received, in October.

Electricity - (for 20-amp plug-in for booths requiring electricity) $30 for one day; $50 charge for the weekend. Please bring a 25' minimum extension cord.

FOOD TRUCKS: Food trucks must register and apply for the necessary permits from the City of Baytown Health Department (281-420- 5384) and Fire Administration (281-422-2311).
